Domaine de l'Anglade, located in the heart of Lavandou, is a few steps from Anglade beach. Surrounded by pine forests and canes of Provence, the estate welcomes you in a green setting by the sea.

Traditional culture

18 ha of vines in an estate of around forty hectares, Domaine de l'Anglade cultivates its vines in the traditional way ; without herbicides or chemical fertilizers.

Biodiversity, soil life and the fight against erosion are favored by temporary grassing. The Domaine de l’Anglade works under the name IGP Maures (Maures Protected Geographical Indication) in order to meet strict conditions of quality and geographical certification.

10 different grape varieties, of which 6 black grapes are cultivated. It is between the last days of August and the first of September that the harvest begins. THE grapes are collected fresh, early in the morning, in pure tradition. Entirely hand picked in order to preserve the integrity and freshness of the berries.

Lagrasse is the perfect setting for roses and whites, vintage is destemmed then trodden. For the red, vintage is only destemmed and the whole berries are put in tank for maceration.

Advice FROM ARMELINE AUDIBERT Oenologist at Domaine de l’Anglade

Accompany your rosé wine with classics from the Provencal cuisine :

  • Small Vegetables Stuffed
  • Ratatouille,
  • aioli,
  • stuffy
  • grilled fish
  • white meats
  • prepared salads

go perfectly with gourmet rosés.

  • The ideal temperature:

Between 8°C and 10°C for a crunchy and delicious rosé, between 10°C and 12°C for a rosé with aging potential. When in doubt, it is better to serve a wine too cold than too hot because it will heat up quickly in the glass, especially in summer!

To cool it, place it in the refrigerator 1 hour before serving and, on the table, don't forget the ice bucket.

Hint:

If you're caught off guard, submerge the bottle in a bucket filled with water, ice cubes and fine salt. Guaranteed effect! Another tip, to keep the wine fresh in the glass, add a few frozen grapes: it's pretty, original and will not alter its taste.
On the other hand, it is not recommended to place it in the freezer because the cold harshens the wine and risks breaking down its aromas.
