Villa Théo is the former home of neo-impressionist painter Théo Van Rysselberghe -1862-1926-. The villa built in 1910 is typical of thearchitecture resort of the French Riviera in the early years of the 20th century. Many artists and writers -André Gide, Matisse, Jean Cocteau– stayed in this place where they enjoyed meeting their friend.
Rehabilitation work has made it possible to open the villa to the public as a new art center. This welcomes different exhibitions at a time permanent and temporary throughout the year.
