The island of Porquerolles is part of the archipelago of the Hyères islands also called the Golden Islands (Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Le Levant). This island is located in the commune of Hyères in the Var in the south of France. It has been classified as Heart of National Park since 2012.

How to get to Porquerolles?

Porquerolles is 50 minutes by boat from Le Lavandou. You have boat shuttles departing from the Lavandou maritime station in season with the golden islands star company.

The rest of the year we advise you to go to Hyères, and take the shuttles from the Giens peninsula with the TLV company.

Where can I park for the day or several days to go to the island of Porquerolles?

  • You can park in the ferry terminal car park which is located in front of the pier. Parking is payable by the day.
  • If you are staying several nights on the island, you can also park in this car park.
  • The market parking on Avenue Vincent Auriol is free, but be careful, on Thursday mornings you cannot park there because the Provençal market is taking place. This car park is located 600 meters from the ferry terminal.
