Every year in spring Le Lavandou invites you to discover its ephemeral garden in front of the town hall. The theme is revealed on the day of the inauguration and for this year 2024, the theme of this ephemeral garden is “The 5 senses”. Come and discover this theme which inspired gardeners in the creation of this enchanting landscape. In this garden your five senses will be awakened, invited to taste, see, smell, hear and touch. As soon as you enter this garden, your gaze is captivated by a 3D structure and trompe l'oeil designed by the artist Marc Ubeda. The compositions of the beds: the color palette of the flowers, the height of the trees, the materials of the paths... amaze you with every step in the garden. You also discover a massif made up of monochrome flowerbeds, each shade representing a ray of sunshine, through mulch and plants with flowers and foliage of the same color.
Touch
In the massive “Touch me!”, awaken your sense of touch with plants with fine, soft, silky foliage. The texture of these plants will amaze you.

It is even possible to play a few musical notes on an argilophone or drums, designed by the collective of “Earth and Sound” musicians.
