Elephant Beach is a pretty wild beach in Lavandou. She is also nicknamed “the wild one”. Located in the Var, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, it is 5.5km from the city center of Lavandou.

Elephant Beach is a true hidden paradise. For what ? Because this magnificent fine sand beach is accessible by a descent of around a hundred steps to arrive at Jean Blanc beach. Then you have to walk a few meters in the sand on your left (facing the sea) to reach it. It is located behind the rocks that jut out into the sea. It is a true haven of intimate peace where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with the preserved nature that surrounds you.

How to access Elephant Beach?
You can get there by taking the D 559 towards Saint-Tropez.
Park in authorized spaces nearby along the road (Free). Then take the cycle path for around 200 meters on foot.
Then, go down the steep stairs on the right (around a hundred steps).
You will reach Elephant Beach by taking the stairs and crossing Jean Blanc Beach on your left. The beach is located behind the rocks which separate it from Jean Blanc.
Can we access Elephant Beach by bike?
Yes, if you like cycling, you can get there via the cycle path from the town center of Lavandou. Take the direction of Cavalière on the greenway. Park at the stairs on your right.
Where to park to go to Elephant Beach?
You can park your vehicle along the road, where spaces are authorized along the D 559, Av. du Professor Paul-Emile Duroux (free parking).
When are dogs allowed on the beach at Le Lavandou?
Dogs are allowed on the beaches from November to March.
