Today we met Géraldine, better known on Instagram under the nickname @geraldine_du_lavandou. It was with pleasure that we interviewed her. Discover with us this sparkling person, full of joie de vivre, and in love with Lavandou.

@gerald.ine in a few words

My name is Géraldine, I have been from Lavandourain since last year but at heart since 2008. It was a colleague and work friend who introduced me to Le Lavandou. He loved so much Le Lavandou that he absolutely wanted me to discover this city too.

It was then that in 2008 I finally decided. After traveling all over the coastline of France, going on vacation to Lavandou.

As soon as I arrived here for the first time, something magical happened inside me! This was the love at first sight immediate for this beautiful village.

It was at that moment that I knew deep within me that I would come live here.
I thank my friend again for having insisted so much that I go holidays in Lavandou.

Thanks to him, today I am happy to live here.

What are your passions ?

Reading

I like simple things, moments with friends, good meals, hikes and am very close to the sea. When the water temperature permits, make Fin Mask Snorkel is a real happiness. There are so many beautiful things to see along the beaches of Lavandou and it's a new show every time, impossible to get tired of.

What is your motto?

It always seems impossible, until it is done.

What would be the ideal day for you?

A perfect day is a day surrounded by the people I love.
And with a bright sun without wind.

And your guilty pleasure?

I am a foodie and an epicurean. But I will say the desserts!!!!!!

What do you like to photograph the most in Lavandou? For what ?

The sunrise. I love the morning when the sun comes out. It's a moment of communion with nature, I recharge my batteries.
Saint-Clair beach is a place where I feel good and where I have met the people who are most dear to me.
