Due to the bad weather conditions forecast for this Sunday, March 31, the Flower Corso has been postponed to Monday, April 1 (14:30 p.m.), under bright sunshine ☀️
👉 Saturday activities are maintained: “Le Layet d’Adam” exhibition (11 a.m.); floral art parade (16:30 p.m.) moved to the Cultural Space; video mapping (19:30 p.m. – 22 p.m.) on the facade of City Hall.
👉 The floats and big heads of the Nice Carnival will also parade on Monday April 1st as planned. The opportunity to experience two celebrations in one!

A parade of a thousand colors

The flowers and their scents announce thearrival of spring, and that of the famous Corso Fleuri du Lavandou in March 2024. Thousands of people are arriving from different French regions to attend this parade. Nearly 20 floats decorated with fresh flowers, 10 musical troupes et dancing, stroll facing the sea, for a unique moment of joy and good humor!

Weeks of work for an extraordinary weekend

From January onwards, Lavandourains se mobilize, think, draw to imagine the floral structure of their dream. They weld iron carcasses, sew costumes. On the home stretch, gerberas, carnations and sprouts enhance the floats.

Only one goal: to win the competition!

I've been decorating the fishermen's association float for 40 years, it's a moment of conviviality and sharing that I won't miss for the world!

Your stay at the seaside with spring scents
