Route details
Description
Take the direction of Collobrières and after 2 km, turn left Chemin de Maraval.
Follow to the Hameau de La TUILIERE.
At the exit of the Hameau at the crossroads, turn left onto Chemin des Hameaux leading to the Hameau de St Jean and continue to La PORTANIERE, to park the vehicle.
Facing the La Portanière gîte, reach the small square on the left, in the center of the hamlet, azimuth 70, to follow the YELLOW markings leading into Vallon Loubier.
Ignore the different right and left departures and continue straight ahead.
Follow the vineyards on the left, and the stream “La Règue de la Truie” on the right.
After 2,5 km from the start, leave the ascending part of the Piste des Perriers on the left.
Continue until crossing a ford.
Raise azimuth 100 to follow the track which rises slightly and reach a crossroads at hill 189, a place called “Les Cogolins”.
Arriving on this crow's foot, leave the path on the right which climbs under the oaks and take the track azimuth 120 which descends towards the Hameau des Cogolins.
250 meters further down, reach a DFCI barrier, hill 149.
Turn right onto the Vallon de Maraval road and follow azimuth 230 for approximately 2,5 km, to reach the ruin of the Béguin mill at hill 109.
Leave the road which continues to the left and take the Chemin de Sauvecanne which turns right, between a water reserve, in a fenced enclosure and the fields of vines.
At hill 121, a place called Collet de La Basse, take azimuth 200, follow the path to reach the La Portanière lodge.
