Description
From the City Center, head towards Espace Jean Villar and park in the La Liberté car park.
At the car park take the stairs at the back and to the left, take azimuth 140.
On the right, take the Chemin de Jean Court for approximately 400 meters, following the YELLOW markings on the tarmac road to arrive at a crow's feet with a large oak tree in the center.
Straight ahead the road rises slightly, and runs alongside villas.
After 150 meters, turn right and 50 meters further down, turn left at hill 161.
Raise azimuth 90 to reach the Vallon de Beaussénas.
Continue for approximately 3 km, leaving the Ravanas and Trayas tracks on the right to arrive at a ford.
Turn completely left (hairpin) and follow the track which rises under the oaks to reach hill 128, the place called Gazelle.
Raise azimuth 120 and take the Issemble track, 1st on the right, for 4 km (possibility of seeing, depending on the season, the Aurélie and Issemble springs marked on the route).
Reach Castellas at hill 252, crossroads with the Chaumadou track which must be followed to the right, azimuth 250 until hill 231, a place called Baisse de La Sorbière, reached after approximately ½ hour.
Stay on the main track and continue to a place called Baïsse des Contes.
At the crossroads, leave the Piste de La Baïsse des Contes on the left, which passes in front of a concrete tank (60m3).
Raise azimuth 310 and continue on the Chaumadou track.
After about 500 meters, leave the main track, to take a path on the right which goes up to an HT line pylon (panorama over the Village of Pierrefeu) at a place called “summit of La Luquette”.
At the foot of the pylon, take a steep path, which goes down to reach the Traversier stream, at Clos de Lette.
Cross a ford, then 20 meters further on the right we find, at hill 61, the tarmac road taken at the start which allows you to reach the Liberté car park.
